There is rising tension in Effurun, located in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, as a fierce fire is currently engulfing the former JFM building.
Concerns are growing that the fire could spread to neighboring structures if not promptly controlled.
The cause of the fire remains unclear at the time of this report.
At approximately 8:43 pm, firefighters from the Delta State Command were reportedly running low on water, making it difficult to extinguish the flames consuming the building, which houses Current FM.
Police officers are on standby to prevent any potential breakdown of law and order or looting of the premises by criminals.
