The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced a new resumption date for the 2024/2025 academic session. Initially scheduled for December 6, 2024, the resumption has been postponed to January 6, 2025.
This change was confirmed in a statement by the university’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Zailani Bappa.
“The management of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, wishes to announce the postponement of the resumption date for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session to January 6, 2025,” the statement read.
Bappa cited unforeseen circumstances as the reason for the adjustment, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to ensuring a smooth academic calendar.
“While students, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders are advised to take note and comply with this change, the management regrets any inconvenience caused by this development,” he added.
The university assured all parties of its dedication to minimizing disruptions and maintaining academic excellence.
