Ex-Kwara Commissioner Abdulraheem Adisa is dead

Former Kwara State Commissioner and prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdulraheem Adisa, has passed away at the age of 91.

Adisa, a staunch loyalist of the Saraki political dynasty, died in the early hours of Thursday, as confirmed by sources in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

During his distinguished career, Adisa served as the Editor of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), General Manager of The Herald Newspapers, Commissioner for Information, and Chairman of Moro Local Government Area in Kwara State.

Plans for his burial have been finalized, with the ceremony scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at the Muslim public cemetery in Ilorin.
