Borno South Senator Ali Ndume has stated that he does not criticize President Bola Tinubu but disagrees with certain policies of his administration.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Ndume emphasized his respect for the President while expressing his concerns.
“I am not criticising the President but his policies. I am not a critic of this government; it is our government,” he said. “I don’t criticise my elders. I am the son of a soldier, and in the barracks, we respect our elders. Tinubu is my elder, and I respect him, but I disagree with him on some areas, hoping to agree.”
Ndume has been outspoken about the economic challenges under Tinubu’s leadership, accusing those close to the President of shielding him from the realities of the hardships Nigerians are facing.
