It is alleged that homosexuality is practiced in the Nollywood industry. During an interview with Arise TV, the 59-year-old actor, Segun Arinze, stated clearly that he is not involved in any homosexual activities in the industry.
He also stated that he cannot confirm the rumor that several of his colleagues in the Nollywood industry bend over because he does not do so. He said, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. So if they bend over, they should stay bending. That’s their problem.
He went on to say that if any of his colleagues are homosexual, he feels they are adults with the right to do what they want. “They are adults; they have the freedom to do anything they want. It’s none of my business. I’m not going to be concerned about that.
I dislike those recalls; I prefer to live my life normally, conduct my work, and be the professional that I am.” He added.
