I’ll go after bad Nigerians, Tinubu Vows Tough Action Against Criminals

President Bola Tinubu has pledged that individuals involved in criminal activities, whether in Nigeria or abroad, will face the full force of the law.

Speaking through the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, at the graduation ceremony for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja on Saturday, Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability across the nation.

“If you are a bad man, whether inside Nigeria or outside, you are in trouble. We will go after you and bring you to justice,” the NSA stated on behalf of the President.

In his remarks, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Adeọla Ajayi, emphasized the importance of collaboration among security agencies to tackle security challenges effectively.

“Together, we can win. The CDS (Chief of Defence Staff) and NSA have driven synergy in a way I have never seen in my career. No security challenge can defeat us if we work together,” Ajayi said.

He also assured Nigerians of improved security measures, promising a future where citizens can sleep soundly without fear. “Very soon, all Nigerians will sleep with their two eyes closed. We thank the President for the direction he is taking the country,” he concluded.

The statements underscore the government’s commitment to addressing insecurity and fostering cooperation among security agencies to protect lives and property nationwide.
