Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will unveil 36 newly completed roads, five vehicular bridges, and a pedestrian bridge across the state starting Monday, December 9, 2024.
The announcement was made by the Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Olufemi Daramola, during a press briefing at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, on Friday. Accompanied by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, Daramola described the unveiling as a significant step in the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development under the THEMES+ agenda.
Highlighting the focus on traffic management and improved transportation, Daramola quoted Governor Sanwo-Olu’s recent budget address:
“Continuous investments in infrastructure are the backbone of our development agenda. The Greater Lagos we envision will emerge on the back of high-quality infrastructure that keeps pace with population growth.”
