Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ album makes Billboard 200 entry

Wizkid’s latest album, Morayo, has made a notable entry onto the Billboard 200 chart, debuting at number 98 in its first week. The album sold 13,000 units, marking yet another milestone for the globally celebrated Nigerian artist.

The achievement was confirmed by Chart Data via X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Wizkid’s Morayo debuts at 98 on this week’s Billboard 200 (13K sold).”

This marks Wizkid’s fourth album to feature on the prestigious chart, reinforcing his status as a global music powerhouse.

Released on November 22, 2024, Morayo is a deeply personal project, serving as a tribute to Wizkid’s late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.

The album’s success underscores Wizkid’s consistency in delivering impactful music and highlights the emotional significance of Morayo, making it a standout moment in his career.
