Zaar Clerics drums Support for Governor Bala Mohammed’s Stand on Sayawa Chiefdom

The Zaar Clerics Consultative Forum in Bauchi State has voiced strong support for Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir’s unwavering commitment to the establishment of the Sayawa (Zaar) Chiefdom, with its headquarters in Tafawa Balewa.

The forum urged the governor not to be swayed by the barrage of accusations and insults that have been directed at him by critics.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the forum, which represents religious leaders from the Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Areas, expressed appreciation for the governor’s determination to see the long-sought chiefdom come to fruition. The group acknowledged the challenges and opposition faced by the governor, stressing that the voices of those attempting to disrupt the process should be ignored. They emphasized that the individuals opposing the chiefdom’s creation are often outsiders with no genuine interest in Bauchi State’s peace or development.

The forum recognized that the Sayawa Chiefdom is a long-overdue step for the region and commended the governor for pursuing the establishment of the chiefdom at a time when it is most needed. They assured Governor Bala Mohammed of their continued support and prayers as he works to modernize and advance the state’s development.

The statement further lauded the governor’s leadership, noting his commitment to inclusivity, fairness, and justice in governance. The clerics highlighted the remarkable strides made under his administration, including improvements in infrastructure, the implementation of the new national minimum wage, and the fostering of peace and harmony across the state.
