Just 24 hours after the death of his mother, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has faced another devastating loss with the death of his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.
Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, confirmed the tragic incident. Abdulwahab died in a car accident while traveling from Kafin Hausa to Dutse. Reports indicate that he lost control of the vehicle, which somersaulted, leading to his death at the scene.
While Abdulwahab tragically passed away, his friends, who were in the vehicle with him, sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care at Dutse General Hospital.
The remains of Abdulwahab have been transported to Kafin Hausa for burial.
