APC Suspends Kebbi Governor’s Aide for Bringing Snake into Government House

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, for allegedly bringing a snake into the Government House.

The party announced that his suspension takes immediate effect while investigations are ongoing and possible disciplinary measures are considered.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the APC State Secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, the incident occurred on February 8, 2025. Sani-Giant was accused of introducing a live snake into the Government House, causing panic among dignitaries, government officials, and guests.

“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated,” Muhammad-Kimba stated.
