The Katsina State Government, under Governor Dikko Umar Radda, has ordered the closure of all schools across the state for the Ramadan fast.

Similarly, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has also shut down all schools for Ramadan.

  • Jalaludeen Maina, the State Ministry of Education’s Information Officer, confirmed the closure.
  • The decision aligns with the 2024-2025 academic calendar, which includes a five-week holiday for Ramadan.
  • Students will resume immediately after fasting to continue their academics.
