“Why I left Moses Bliss’ record label”: Ebuka Songs finally breaks the silence.
Popular gospel singer Ebuka Songs has finally broken his silence regarding his departure from Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation, after just 11 months.
The talented gospel artist, who initially signed a three-year contract with Spotlite Nation, unexpectedly parted ways with the label in less than a year.
In December 2024, Moses Bliss addressed the situation, revealing that Ebuka had chosen to pursue his music career independently without further elaboration.
Now, speaking on the Open Up podcast, Ebuka Songs has shed light on his decision, stating that his exit was primarily motivated by a calling to focus on his ministry.

While he acknowledged the impact of Spotlite Nation on his career, he emphasized that he felt led by God to embark on a new path that aligned with his spiritual journey.
The revelation has since sparked discussions among fans and the gospel music community, with many expressing support for his decision.
“I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life because, at that time, I had the anointing and gift, but I didn’t know how to go about it professionally.
“I am grateful for the journey that I have been through, but at this point, the next level is to focus on my ministry. And we are in a good space.”
Ebuka Songs also explained why he chose to remain silent about his exit, emphasizing that he wanted to avoid unnecessary speculation.
“The reason why I kept quiet about my exit or didn’t say anything since that time is because I didn’t want it to generate more conversations. We all get to the point where we just want to focus on the next phase of our lives, and for me, that is the assignment of God upon my life,” he added.
Despite parting ways with the label, Ebuka reassured fans that there is no bad blood between him and his former team, emphasizing that he is in a good place as he moves forward in his ministry.
